Any help in spreading this information to the marching community in the region would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Dear Colleagues,

I’m excited to announce a newly created position for a marching band administrative assistant here at Towson University.  I’m hoping to find a color guard person to fill this position. It could be ideal for someone who has always wanted to “make a living” teaching color guard, but couldn’t find security in doing so. This position would allow a color guard person to work in a stable job situation that is part of the marching activity. Although the position is only half time, it does include a benefits package (health care, retirement, tuition remission, etc.); therefore, it could provide some security to someone who wants to supplement his or her income by teaching color guard in the Baltimore/Maryland area.

The individual who fills the position would become a part of our TU Marching Band color guard instructional/design staff, which would provide additional compensation. He or she must be a detail-oriented and organized person with great people skills.

Attached is a pdf file of the job posting from our human resources department. Please forward this information to anyone you may know who might be interested in a position such20as this. I can be contacted through email with any questions.

Thank you,

John Miliauskas
