Olympic Dreams – New Halftime Articles

| October 3, 2008 | 0 Comments

Many Winter Guard fans were disappointed to miss the beloved James Logan High School Winter Guard at WGI World Championships last year.  But James Logan guard members, along with hundreds of other marchers from the West Coast were saving up to experience their own Olympic Dreams in Beijing where the colorguard was choreographed by their very own Mark Metzger.

Read my recent article published in Halftime Magazine to learn more about the 2008 Olympic Orchestra and the historic trip to China!

Or for an up-close and personal account, read mom Trish Christensen's day by day account of the trip.

This issue's Color Guard Sectionals column was one you can share with your own students as they take the field for their first competitions, "First Impressions."

Please support Halftime Magazine as we continue to grow and please spread the word to your students that our beloved marching arts have their very own print publication!
