New Poll Posted! Do Your Performers Have to Pay for their Uniforms?

Please check out our monthly poll posted in the blue box at the upper right of the home page!

[Edited to Add: This is an old feature – as of 2011 we no longer post these monthly polls]

Each month we try to post a new question where our community members can share their experiences and find out what other coaches are doing at their own programs.  This month’s poll question was submitted by Amy Wall Kastner through our facebook page.  She’d like to know, “Do your performers have to pay for their own uniforms?”  We hope you’ll take a moment to respond.  You don’t have to register for the page or sign in to post your answer to the poll – it’s all anonymous.

While you’re there you can take a look at our past polls.  Click “results” to go through to the results page and then you’ll see a drop down menu with past poll results to choose from.  Last month (actually… in May!) we asked, “How do your auditions usually work?”  That one stayed up throughout our busy summer.  With 138 total responses here is how the answers came in:  50.7% of respondants said “We hold auditions but usually all who try out make it.”   26.1% have auditions with strict “cuts.”  And 23.2% indicated that all interested students make the team.

Thank you to everyone who takes a moment to share your experiences with the community!
