features video about Blind Student in Colorado Marching Band

Wow – sorry for the multiple posts today but I couldn’t pass up the opportunity to let people know about this wonderful story – especially in this week of Thanksgiving.  Check out this video about a blind mellophone performer in a Colorado high school marching band who, with the help of his section leader, is finding his place marching on the field in the band’s field show.  Thanks to one of my facebook friends and another colorguard blogger Amanda Gilyani for bringing this video to my attention.  What a difference this director is making in the lives of all of his students.  Wonderful story, wonderful lessons!

EDITED: 10/15/2011 – the CNN video no longer appears to be live online – but the same story was profiled on Colorado’s – click here for the 9news story and video.
