Candy Cane Flag

| December 16, 2011 | 0 Comments

This has got to be the simplest Fun Friday craft project yet!  It’ll only take you minutes (beyond gathering the supplies) but you’re sure to put smiles on the faces of your performers!

‘Flag’ Candy Canes

Materials needed:

  • Craft Felt
  • Glue gun
  • Sheet of paper
  • Candy cane
Instructions:
  • Using the sheet of paper, cut a template for your ‘flag’.  You can use any shape you’d like, but leave an extra 1-1.5” on the end to lap around the back for gluing.
  • Using the template, cut a piece of craft felt.
  • Lay the candy cane on the felt, allowing for the end to be wrapped around the back and glued (this includes leaving some space at the top for a ‘little dab of glue)
  • Apply glue, wrap edge around back and secure!

Enjoy your ‘guardified’ holiday treat!
